Of enduring worth

This third volume completes the trilogy of Polgar's annotated games (the first two were "How I Beat Fischer's Record" and "From GM to Top Ten"). These three volumes are arguably one of the best annotated game collections ever published.
The first three chapters are devoted to her games against Kasparov, Karpov, and Korchnoi respectively. The fourth chapter covers her rapid match against Anand. Chapters 7, 8, and 9 focus on the opening, middlegame, and endgame respectively.
The notes are the same excellent blend of insightful verbal explanations mixed with variational analysis that can be found in the first two volumes.
This is a book of enduring worth.

I really enjoyed this book

I really enjoyed this book. Judith is the first woman to break the glass ceiling in chess, getting into the top 10 in the world and beating numerous world champions. And what a style of chess she plays! Violent, aggressive, uncompromising. I enjoyed all the commentated games and the honesty with which she evaluated the tournaments she played in. I hope Hou Yifan follows well in her footsteps and continues to show that women can beat men at this game!

Best book in the 3 part series the games are mature shes ranked #8 in the world here.
This is a hardcover book almost 400 pages the analysis is mixed with verbal explanations.
