I hope you enjoy this third volume in the Time Walkers series. This installment focuses on Benjamin and Makedewa, two supporting characters in the Time Walkers story. Although you will find Maggie and Winn as well, this is more of a story of what is happening around them. Events are put into motion that will shape the future for all those in the Norse village and both Benjamin and Makedewa are smack down in the middle of it.

I came up with the idea after running across a snippet in my own family history. As I researched I kept wondering about what happened beyond the facts. What was it like to live during that time, and what did it feel like to be a woman then? Soon an even more intriguing question occurred: If a modern woman somehow went back in time, would she be able to survive during such a tumultuous time in history?
So it happened that the idea for this story grew wings. Maggie is a modern day woman with all her flaws and features, thrust back into a time where men were carving out the history of America. She has just enough knowledge of the past to know trouble is coming, yet soon she is kicking herself for not paying better attention in history class. Fortunately the hero of the story, Winn, does not kill her on sight, but he has his own set of issues to deal with just like any person in any century.

Expect surprises. Worth your time to read.

This novella is an essential read if you have read the first two books in the Time Walkers series. I would highly recommend you read the series in order. So much of what is reveled in this book is going to surprise and make sense out of questions you may have from the previous books.

It starts out with Benjamin and Makedewa returning home after being gone for almost a year. Benjamin is taken prisoner and in an attempt to try and discover what and why Agnarr (his captor) is so interested in Time Walkers he elects to stay with Agnarr instead of being rescued. Jora, being a seer, was the one to alert Agnarr to the fact that Benjamin is a Time Walker. Jora needs Benjamin's help to escape plans Agnarr has for her life. Benjamin wants to use Jora as a means to find out more about Agnarr's plans for the Time Walkers. Neither one trust the other.

Meanwhile Makedewa returns to the village to give news of the events and to reunite with Rebecca. There are revelations about Makedewa that are guaranteed to surprise you. Their story unfolds and it's not a smooth path.

We learn so much more about the Gothi Chieftains, what it means to be a blooded MacMhaolian, and the magic involved.

Brown is so good a giving insight into the lives of the Powhatan people of the period. In this story as well as in the last book she also includes fascinating customs of the Norse that have been tweaked to fit the story line.

A must read for the series. Adult content so be aware.

AN EXCELLENT CONTINUATION OF THE SERIES

Although this was a novella, the story still grabbed me and held my interest to the last page. The focus in this 3rd book is on the secondary characters and Ms. Brown skillfully developed them to the point that the reader feels like she personally knows them. Benjamin has left the Norse and Indian settlement and moved into an English settlement where he is working "undercover" so to speak, to fulfill his sworn duty to protect the blooded MacMhaolian.

I highly recommend this series and can't wait for the next book.

A Fine Edition to the Time Walkers Saga

`Of Vice and Virtue', the third book in E.B. Brown's Time Walkers saga, has the author bringing her supporting cast to the forefront for a quick side adventure that expands the rich world she has created. The story focuses around Benjamin and his exodus to an English settlement where he finds a new threat to the Time Walkers. Readers are also enticed with new and renewed romances that Ms. Brown finely tunes to pluck the heart strings of her readers in both erotic and heart-breaking moments as the supporting cast becomes more fully realized.

The character of Benjamin becomes a fan favorite as the flawed and tragic character trying to find his way and do what's right to protect the Blooded MacMhaolian. I found myself really enjoying how well the character of Benjamin is evolving and look forward to seeing where his current and dangerous path takes him.

The author also takes pride in authentically recreating the traditions of early Native American tribes and Norse clans. The details in one Nordic ceremony vividly bring those traditions to life in such a way that the reader will feel as if he is actually attending the ceremony.

Ms. Brown's writing flows at a good pace making ` Of Vice and Virtue' a quick easy read for her fans. She has the skill to pull her readers into the story and make them really feel for her characters and the adventures they share.

The thing I like most about each of Time Walker books is that by the time you are finished you feel like you have been to this fascinating and magical world; a feeling that leaves you yearning to return while you wait anxiously for the next book.

`Of Vice and Virtue' is a fine edition to the series and rounds out a supporting cast that I think will have key roles in the saga's finale.

Excellent Resource Book on food & digestive medical exams

I have read & referenced a number of books on digestive health. This book is excellent. It is one of the first that clearly & quickly gives you the information you need on food but also the medical exams to detect digestive health problems. Also, the book does a great job of giving you the advantages and disadvantages. For example, the authors talk about a food and then caution on potential problem. The authors talk about medicines like proton pump inhibitors, antacids, milk of magnesium and then give you the advantages and disadvantages. The authors talk about medical tests and how they are conducted, how to prepare, questions to ask your doctor, etc... The book is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to prevent a digestive problem, or suspects that they have a digestive problem, or is living with a digestive problem or recovering from one.

Great info for those with diverticulitis....

As a person who has issues with diverticulitis I am always on the search for books, literature and articles that help out with those horrible flare-ups. This book had some valuable information which I must admit has given us some good stepping stones on the path to healthy digestive health. No book is a "one size fits all" but this one is worthy of a click and a purchase.

Graham Greenleaf is a Professor of Law at the University of New South Wales, Australia, where he specialises in the relationships between information technology and law. He is a co-founder and Co-Director of the free-access Internet law service, the Australasian Legal Information Institute. In 2010 he took the lead in establishing the Asian Privacy Scholars Network. He was General Editor of the monthly Privacy Law and Policy Reporter 1994-2006, and since then has been Asia-Pacific Editor for Privacy Laws & Business International. He co-edited Global Privacy Protection (Edward Elgar, 2008) with J Rule. In 2010 he was made a member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his contributions to advancing free access to legal information, and to the protection of privacy.

How to Persuade Women

I read the sample chapter, and started to think that Gino DiCaprio (formerly known as Jake Hollow) was a smooth player. I could not get past some of the things he said (meaning I thought he had a big ego), so I bought the eBook.

I could not put it down. It was the opposite of what I thought. This book is well written and it is written from the heart and not from what I originally thought was his `ego' (I own this guy an apology).

If you're a guy that needs some advice in the dating department, I strongly suggest this book for you.

As a woman I found that Gino DiCaprio has much to say in the dating and romance dept. I have found that most men do not really know what a women wants, or needs. I also found that this book is not another `repackage' text book on dating.

Gino is blunt and gets right down to the point. As a woman I found that anyone that ever wants to date me will have to pick up this book and read it so that they can apply some of the things that Gino is suggesting.

I would also suggest this book for women. After you read this you will never settle for anything less than what you deserve!

I bought the eBook because I was hooked after the sample chapter.

Yesterday I ordered the paper back edition.

I give this book 5 Stars!!!

Every 5th grade student should have the opportunity to sing and dance in this production. It follows the 5th grade curriculum and takes music from the early 1900's to the 1960's. It is a delightful production and definitely one of John's best ever.
